Perhaps it was the noobs helping you thru the elite missions, after all you didnt do it solo did you? there was a team of 11 others also there doing the mission.
You got drops for doing the missions, along with everyone else, what makes you so special?

If the sole reason for your writing of that rather incomplete and biased guide was to get into the Scribe, it's not a random act of kindness. It's an act of attention-seeking.

Rereading the post, I sound a bit arrogant.

But in order to stop the baseless accusations, this was what I did for most of the Elite Mission Weekend.

I'm just surprised that The Scribe wouldn't have seen that message (let alone anyone else in this topic), since it was a special event. Not dissappointed, it wasn't my only intention, I'm just surprised.

(PS: That guide wasn't biased. I only received about 2 questions total about the Mesmer and the Assassin roles...out of maybe 200.)

Still, if you did it only to get into the Scribe, it's NOT a random act of kindness, just one of attention seeking.

If you only do nice things to try and get famous, you shouldn't do them at all.

How many times have I said it: I did not help out at the missions just to get into the damn Scribe!

I'm just surprised.

I'm inclined to follow the flock on this one. Seems that the OP was aiming for getting his/her name mentioned in the scribe and is now upset that it didn't happen. Oh well. People do nice things for people every day and a lot of them expect nothing for them. The people who expect nothing in return are without motive and this is what the sccribe recognizes. If you are truly helping people for the sake of doing it, than a simple thank you, to you, from the helped should be more than enough. After all, you're helping people, not yourself.
